世界中のあらゆるドラゴンの頂点に君臨する神デウス。世界に現存するほぼ全てのドラゴンは、其の「竜化」の力によって生み出されたものを起源としている。デウスの槍によって貫かれた生物は、体内に竜化血晶を射ち込まれると共に、それが暴走して竜化が促進される。「無の時代」に突如現れた彼は、たちまちの内に数多の「在来種」たちを竜へと変貌させていった。

「バベル」は竜を使役する術を持つ。しかしそれは、あくまでバベルという地が持つ特性であり、神々自身の力では無い。ゆえに世界の創世より、数千年の永きに渡り、彼らは「其れ」を護り続けて来た。更にしかし、創造主よりただ独りだけ、竜を司る力を与えられた神が居る。それが竜神デウスであった。彼のみが、主が与えし「使命」の下、竜を生み出し、竜を支配し、罰を与える権利を持つ。
The land of Babel contains the power to control dragons. The gods who inhabit the place do not, themselves, have such power, and so, they have had to share this power among themselves for millennia. Yet, the Creator gave one god the ability to control dragons. This was Deus, and it is only he who has the authority vested in him to create, rule, and punish dragons.

さらばだ偽りし者

[滅龍神]デウス [Dragon Downfall] Deus
戦いは、いまだ経過のただ中にあった。圧倒的な神の力。デウスが統べる数多の竜が、迫る数多の尖兵たちを、喰らい、切り裂き、圧し潰す。骸は形を留める事無く、「バベル」と竜の躯とを、血肉が紅く染め上げる。こうして「教国」が放った千にも至る雑兵たちは、その一切が一掃された。しかしデウスは戦いが、いまだ経過のただ中にあると感じていた。そしてこれより僅かの後、バベルと竜とを蒼炎が包み、この戦いは結末へと至る。
In a show of godly might, Deus led his army of dragons against the soldiers who charged at him. The soldiers were gouged, torn, and smashed beyond recognition, dying the land of Babel and the dragons blood red. The army of the Holy Kingdom had been wiped out. Still, Deus sensed the war was not over yet. Moments later, a blue fire consumed Babel and the dragons, and it was this that ended the war.

[絶龍神]デウス [Extinction Dragons] Deus
魂と魄とを司る神が、両の瞳の光を喪くしたデウスの耳へと語りかける。いわく、神は「バベル」の地を追われ、いわく、今や世界の支配者は代わり、いわく、即ち神々は、無様極まる敗北を喫した。それは、創造主より与えられた、神々の持つ「使命」の全てが、蒼き炎に焼き尽くされた事を示す。しかし、尚語られる彼の言葉が、光を灯し道を照らす。いわく、竜の神たるその力こそ、今や唯一届きうる、神の最後の一矢である、と。
God of Soul talks word to Deus's ear, who lost his eyes and light. Gods are chased by Babel, changed the ruler of the world, and Gods tasted vain in the defeat. That proof is burned by blue flame that given by Creator's all of mission. Still, his talk make the road of light. The rage brought a final power of Dragon God to him.

たとえこの身が絶えようとも

[堕龍神]デウス [Dark Dragon God] Deus
その戦いを果ての果て。「悪たる竜」の心核を、神なる者の槍が穿つ。それが全ての始まりであった。かくしてこの世に唯一残った、竜を司りし神の力は、狂い、世界に仇なす存在へと至る。かつて浄化の罰を与えし神は、今や己の魂をこそ、最も罰を受けるべきへと堕とし、それでもたった一つだけ、心に灯る「使命」のみを遺し。
It all started when the Purifier's spear pierced the Evil Dragon's heart. The power that ruled the dragons became corrupted and turned against the world. The Purifier is now deserving of his own punishment; but he has one duty left.
