太古の昔に魔術師イデアと「契約」を結んだ従者。教国では数千に及ぶ従者を従え魔導師たちを教育するかたわら、日々、だらし無く振る舞うイデアの世話に手を焼いている。基本的にイデアの計画に口を出す気は無く、あくまで契約満了までの関係と割り切って従事している。
A servant who made a contract with Idea in the distant past. Training magicians to serve her in the Holy Land, she spends her days trying to keep up with Idea's demands. She’s not bothered by Idea’s plans, she just wants to complete her contract.

[縛王]ヴェルベット [Bound Queen] Velvet
その昔、「クトゥール」なる妖精と契約を結び、自我を奪われこの世を恐怖の底へと落とし入れたヴェルベット。イデアによってその身体からクトゥールを引き抜かれた際、彼女の魂の一部も同時に引き剥がれ、本来の力と記憶を失っていた。しかし今なぜかその記憶が戻りつつある。
Velvet formed a contract with the fairy Qthulu, completely losing control of herself. When Idea finally removed Qthulu from her body, part of Velvet's soul was also removed, taking her powers and memories with it. They are just now coming back.

ヴェルベットは、喫驚の光景に目を疑った。それは、教国に存在する魔導師たち全てに「悪食王」の魂が乗り移るという情景。あちらこちらで猫のような奇妙な笑い声が上がる中、ヴェルベットは目を覚ます。それは単なる悪夢であった。しかし、夢から醒めたはずの彼女の耳に、猫のような奇妙な笑い声が響く。
Velvet couldn’t believe her eyes. All the magicians in the Holy Land were being possessed by the Glutton Queen’s soul. Strange, cat-like laughter rang out, and she awoke. It was nothing but a nightmare, but that feline laugh still echoed.

[白夢王]ヴェルベット [White Dream] Velvet
堕ちた後も、ヴェルベットは生き長らえていた。イデアの機転、或いは暴挙によって、ほとんど全ての悪食王は滅んだが、それらを生み出し先導した、軍師ローレッタ、つまり現悪食王はまだ生きている。そして量産された悪食王も、その幾人かは生き延び下界に潜伏した。ヴェルベットの主たるイデアは死んだが、しかし、契約はまだ終わってはいない。
The Holy Land fell. Idea’s bold wits almost killed the Glutton Queen, but she and Tactician Lauretta (their creator) lived. Mass-produced Glutton Queens escaped to the land below. Her mistress Idea was dead, but Velvet lived on to finish their contract.

[黒夢王]ヴェルベット [Black Dream] Velvet
時は闇の時代へと移り変わろうとしていた。千年ごとに巡ってくる人と竜との戦争の裏側で、ヴェルベットは悪食王との戦いを、一人孤独に続けていた。これまでに量産式悪食王を62体程討伐したものの、いまだ一度も本体へは辿り着いていない。よもや、何処かで朽ち果てたかとも考え始めていた頃、彼女は或る噂を耳にする。それは「悪食竜」なる竜を喰らう竜の噂であった。
The age was growing dark. The human/dragon conflict cycle continued and Velvet fought against the Glutton Queen. Killing 62 copies, she had yet to find their creator. She almost thought her dead until she heard strange rumors of a dragon eating dragon, the Devourer Dragon.

[惡滅王]ヴェルベット [Evil Destroyer] Velvet
「教国」なる地が堕ちてから先、数千年の永き刻を、彼女は一人歩んできた。道中至る、量産された悪意の首を、あるいは瞳を、あるいは胃の腑を、落とし、貫き、開きながら。ゆえに浴びた血も少なくは無く、やがてその身は汚れゆく。しかしたとえ最後にその手で潰すが、己の心の臓であったとしても、後を歩む者たちへと、彼女はそれでも道を繋ぐ。
Holy Land fell from thousands of years later, she walked. She has removed the mass-produced Glutton Queen's head, eyes and stomach. Her body got wet with blood of the victim. Even if her heart is crushed with its hand, she walks the way to the persons who walk later.
