同郷のアレクセイと共に、数年前に王都へとやって来た青年騎士。国家資格の中でも最難関とされる王国騎士の資格試験に、いとも容易く合格した若き天才。ただ天才ゆえに、自分よりも要領の悪い者の気持ちが理解できず、周囲との衝突は絶えない。
The youth knight who came to the Capital a few years ago with Aleksei in the same district. The young genius who passed a qualifying exam of the knights makes in the state qualification a biggest hurdle very easily. But his arrogant attitude is disliked from the around.

その才能を十二分に生かし、騎士団長へと昇進したミハエル。その才覚で王国騎士団を率いるだけで無く、内外の政治にも口を出せるほどの立場となった。そんな彼の強引な手腕は、たびたび現在の王アルトリウスと対立しており、今、国は二つの派閥が対立する構造となっている。

Often called a demon because of his incredibly strategic wit, he was the true power behind the throne. Known for using multi-tiered traps to humiliate and destroy his foes, for his final display of prowess, he has chosen the current king, Artorius.

空は青く、雲も無い。光射す王都に鳴り響く祝福の鐘を聴きながら、ミハエルは猛烈な勢いで街中を駆ける。この大切な日にまさかの寝坊を果たした彼は、今まさに主君の門出に遅刻せんとしていた。と、差し掛かる街角にて同じく駆ける騎士が一人。顔を見ずともそれが友、すなわちアルフォンスである事は明白であった。ゆえにこそミハエルは、彼より遅れるわけにはいくまいと、顔を赤くし更に駆ける。こうして二人は共に走り、争いの無いその世界で、永く、満ちたる刻を生きた。
While a bell of the blessings is resounding the Capital, Michael runs through a downtown desperately. He was going to oversleep in this important day and be late. Suddenly, his friend Alphonse who is a knight appeared in a street corner. Two people thus ran together with in the peaceful world.

[劣王]ミハエル [Nasty King] Michael
類稀なる才を振るい、王国の全てを勝ち取った、現・国王。或る日の朝、彼は約束を果たすべくその場所を訪れる。硝子を通し朝の陽が振る塔の最上、咲き誇るのは龍樹の花。やがて摘まれた一花が、彼女のその手の冷たさと共に、ミハエルの手へ受け渡される。そして誓いの証とも、或いは永遠の別れとも、そのどちらともいえる笑顔を浮かべ、彼は其処から去っていった。
The incumbent king used the exceptional ability, and gained possession of everything in a kingdom.

非凡な才を持った彼は、いつからか、非凡ならざる歩み方を忘れた。道に立ち塞がる者あれば、手段を問わず闇に葬り、己の道の起首たる故郷は、旧友もろとも躊躇無く消し、己の道を、共に歩むと決した者は、ただただ無情に捨て去った。しかし、知と理と業を尽くして拓く、王と言う名の彼の道に、やがて一人の騎士が立つ。そして騎士の槍は、道もろともに魂を砕き、一人の王の歩みは止まった。
His extraordinary genius made him forget how to live an ordinary life. He dispatched obstacles in any way he could, destroyed the home that triggered his journey—as well as his old friends—and abandoned without a care those who helped him along the way. A single knight eventually stood in his way, and with his spear, destroyed the king's soul and ended his road.
