身体が竜へと変質する特殊な病に侵されたクロマは、まず親に捨てられた。次に彼女は孤児院に引き取られ、その孤児院に捨てられた。その後、彼女のような身の上の子供たちが寄り集まり暮らす土地からも彼女は追われ、寒い冬の雪の日、彼女はついに一人森で倒れ動かなくなった。
