所だった。殻の中では絶えず書が、空から地へ
と降り注ぎ、それを読むのが私はとても好きだ
った。ただ、何が書かれていたのかを、思い出
す事はもう無いだろう。或いは私が好きだった
事でさえ、虚かそれとも嘘なのかもしれない。

聞き入れられる気配は無いようだ。そしてやが
て騒音の元凶たる二人、つまりはこの禁書館に
て書を管理する、黒と白との番の司書が、また
くだらない口論の末、扉を蹴破り入って来た。
